Memphis is developing a dynamic, activated, mixed use oasis in the heart of the city. Liberty Park will be catalytic for the Mid-South, bringing new life to the Fairgrounds with year-round activation, welcoming our entire community and tourists alike.

Within that oasis there will be the Memphis Sports and Events Center, this 227,000 sq. ft. sports and events facility will include indoor basketball and volleyball hardcourts and be adaptable for other sports like wrestling, gymnastics, cheerleading, as well as convocation and commencement events.

The complex will include a café and concessions area, as well as outdoor turf fields. The interior is an exposed structure with 18-foot-tall trusses and an aluminum fixed bleacher system on the Events side. Exterior skin is insulated metal panels and aluminum curtainwall with translucent panels to let in diffused light into the two large spaces.
