George Zettel is a Program Manager responsible for advancing lean, the Last Planner System, Integrated Project Delivery and Design / Build in the United States and Canada. He has worked for Turner Construction Company for 18 years leading project and industry improvements with lean principles since 2004. George works on projects and in offices developing lean leaders and improving practitioners’ operations. George has worked to develop people and coach teams on multiple projects utilizing Lean, Integrated Project Delivery, and Design/Build delivery.
George has a Bachelor Of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and educational certificates from the Lean Construction Institute (LCI), Lean Enterprise Institute, and the Training Within Industry Institute. George is an LCI instructor for LCI courses. He an active volunteer and speaker with LCI, past National Board Member, and Chair Emeritus of the LCI Northern California Community of Practice (CoP).
George currently resides in Nashville with most of his family, and frequently visits his youngest son in the Denver area.
