How can professionals leverage the value of AIA membership to advance their careers, the profession and society? Explore resources that enable AIA Tennessee members to navigate diverse offerings and connect to focused information for architects and the built environment. Participants will gain understanding of opportunities for customizing AIA membership to enhance professional collaboration.
Learning Objective 1: Identify the many ways that active engagement in AIA Tennessee can support practice-related skills critical to serving the public interest.
Learning Objective 2:Review AIA Tennessee’s role in providing architects, designers, practitioners, and emerging professionals with practice-based knowledge.
Learning Objective 3:Identify grassroots strategies to support and pass legislation to advance the built environment in Tennessee including historic tax credit legislation .
Learning Objective 4:Develop strategies for incorporating AIA Tennessee engagement into your career development using professional innovation.
AIA Memphis hosts the Third Thursday: Lectures on Local Design series on the third Thursday of each month. Open to the public, Third Thursdays are hosted by local architects and designers as they share their knowledge and experience with projects in the Mid-South and beyond.
