Memphis Teacher Residency (MTR)
The mission of MTR is not simply to prepare high-potential teachers for Memphis schools. MTR's mission is Christian love expressed in equal education. The change desired is that our city’s most marginalized communities would have access to the same quality of education within their neighborhood-zoned schools as does any other child in Memphis. Now in its 8th year, MTR currently has 268 residents and graduates teaching and leading mostly within our 36 partner feeder-pattern schools that serve six MTR partner neighborhoods: Binghampton, Orange Mound, Frayser, Mitchell Heights, Graham Heights, and Alcy Ball.

tech901
Tech901 seeks to foster and support the burgeoning tech sector in Memphis by creating professional development opportunities and highlighting other organizations working toward this common purpose within our community. Through meaningful programming and relationship-building, tech901 believes awareness can bring more voices into this conversation.

The Poplar Foundation/The Pyramid Peak Foundation
The Poplar Foundation is a private foundation that provides resources for education entities with a focus on low-income students. The Pyramid Peak Foundation provides financial support to Memphis organizations with a variety of educational and community focuses.

This session is part two of a series featuring renovation and expansion projects in the Crosstown Concourse completed by AIA Memphis firms.
