Ballet Memphis at Overton Square
presented by Todd Walker, FAIA | archimania
Ballet Memphis’ new Midtown location at Overton Square is the latest addition to the district, which already includes four theaters, a movie theatre, and live music venues. The building is on the highly visible corner of Madison and Cooper, with the largest dance studio of the organization housed on that corner. On the site of the former French Quarter Hotel, the future home of the ballet school, will include four studios and rehearsal space. The building is designed to be visible and welcoming to the public with both its location and design elements.
